Damascus, (SANA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Ottri reviewed on Sunday with General Secretary of the "Damascus, Arab Capital of Culture 2008" Festivities Dr. Hanan Qassab Hassan the Festivities' programs and activities that were carried out during the past months and the plans for the upcoming months.

During the meeting, Premier Ottri underlined the importance of enriching the festivities' activities to emphasize Syria's cultural visage, bolster Arab communication and solidarity, improve the standing of Arab culture, and defend the Arab identity and its cultural and human message.
