Damascus, (SANA) – The Iraqi Cultural Days activities will kick off on Saturday at 9 PM at al-Azem Palace in Damascus as part of the "Damascus, Arab Capital of Culture 2008" festivities.
Damascus, (SANA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Ottri reviewed on Sunday with General Secretary of the "Damascus, Arab Capital of Culture 2008" Festivities Dr. Hanan Qassab Hassan the Festivities' programs and activities that were carried out during the past months and the plans for the upcoming months.
An exhibition on Coins production in Damascus during the classical ages was opened on Friday in the frame work of Damascus as the Capital of Arab Culture for the year 2008.
Budapest (SANA)- Budapest- based Arabic and Hungarian languages Magazine "The Blue Danube" has described Damascus as an echo of history, co-existence and cultural rapprochement.
