Damascus, (SANA)-Minister of Information Dr. Mohsen Bilal stressed that Syria works to enhance Palestinian national unity to face up to their sufferings and difficult conditions because of the Israel's occupation and its crimes.

Meeting UNRWA Commissioner-General Mrs. Karen AbuZayd Tuesday evening, Dr. Bilal said Syria is offering all forms of support to the Palestinians and consider them in terms of treatment as Syrian citizens in all fields.

He stressed that his Ministry will continue to support the activities of the UNRWA in Syria and offer all needed facilities to make its mission a success.

The Minister reiterated that the Palestinian refugees have a right to return home as stipulated by the UN resolution, especially resolution No. 194.

Mrs. AbuZayd expressed appreciation for the facilities and support offered by Syria to the UNRWA projects and the Palestinian refugees. She also thanked the Ministry of Information and the Syrian media institutions for their support to her international agency's programs and plans.
