Beirut, (SANA) – The freed Lebanese captive Samir al-Kintar, who remained in Israeli prisons for 30 years, and four of his freed comrades arrived in the Lebanese border checkpoint in Ras al-Naqura on Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier, Official at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Media and Publication Department Jessie Shahin reported that the living Lebanese captives are still in Israeli custody, saying that Samir al-Kintar and four other captives are still held at an Israeli military camp.
The Lebanese National Reistance delivered the remains of Israeli soldiers killed during the Israeli aggression on Lebanon in July 2006 to the ICRC at 5 PM on Wednesday.
The remains were handed down by the Liaison and Coordination Official at Hezbollah Wafiq Safa to the ICRC, who transported them in an ambulance from Lebanese territory to Palestine.
