Damascus,(SANA)- Palestinian Arab intellectual , Azmi Bishara, has said that all attempts targeting Syria have failed , thanks to President Bashar al-Assad's wise policy which has managed to break all these attempts , and to keep Syria open to the Arabs and Europeans. In an interview broadcast last night by Lebanese satellite TV channel , alManar, Bishara said : "The policy of Arab Syria is characterized by standing by the resistance in Palestine, and Lebanon , and rejecting the US. aggression and occupation of Iraq." Concerning Lebanon , Bishara said that after Doha Accord with Syria's blessing and support, Lebanon has moved toward accord and national dialogue and that Damascus declaration following the Syrian-Lebanese summit , has restored the Syrian – Lebanese relations back to normal.
