Damascus,(SANA)-
Mrs. Asma al-Assad opened at Dummar Museum for Art, an exhibition that contains the second stage of a project to revive the memory of Plastic Art .
The exhibition is being held in the framework of the activities of Damascus as the capital of the Arab culture and lasts until Sept.15.
The opening ceremony was attended by Vice President, Najah Attar , and Minister of Culture , Riyad Naasan Agha .
The exhibition contains selective works of Plastic Art from the Ministry of Culture that date back to the sixties until the end of the 20th century.
For her part, Mrs. Asma al-Assad stressed that such a heritage is part of Syria's cultural heritage and such a project should be utilized as a basis for contemporary Plastic Art that would promote Syria's presence on the international art arena.
