DAMASCUS, SANA - Information Minister Mohsen Bilal has stressed Syria's support to Lebanon's national unity, security and stability, pointing out to the deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries in various domains.

Receiving a Lebanese Media and Tourist delegation on Tuesday, Bilal said that Syria, as President of the current session of the Arab summit, works for enhancing Arab solidarity and activating Arab joint action in order to restore the Arab legitimate rights.

Bilal added that Syria's doors are opened before all the Lebanese brothers, asserting that Syria will cooperate with Lebanon on boosting the bilateral relations through discussing all issues of common interests.

He congratulated the Lebanese people and the national resistance on the liberation of dean of the Arab prisoners at the Israeli jails Sameer al-Quntar and his friends, referring to the sacrifices that the national resistance had offered in order to liberate the occupied southern Lebanon in 2000 and its victory in 2006.
