Damascus, (SANA)-Member of the Regional Leadership of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Mrs. Shahinaz Fakoush, meeting on Wednesday Syrian swimmer Saleh Mohammad who won two gold medals in the First Asian Coastal Games, stressed importance of good training and preparations in reaching distinguished results in international champions and courses.

 Mrs. Fakoush praised the achievement by swimmer Mohammad in this championship which was held recently in Indonesia, stressing that his victory is a victory for Syria and the Arabs and serves as an encouraging factors for Syrian athletes to follow the example.

Swimmer Mohammad won the gold medal for long distances / 10 km / and the gold medial in the 5-km race to become the first Syrian athlete to win two gold medals on the Asian level.
