Raqqa, northeast Syria (SANA) – The American archaeological expedition working at Tal al-Suwaihat site, northeast of Syria began work for the season, headed by Dr. Michael Dante.

Director of al-Raqqa Archaeology Department Anas al-Khabour pointed out that the team will focus on the Temple area which dates back to the 3rd Millennium B.C., in addition to searching for the historical city of Borman which is believed to be located in that site.
