Excavation works at Mary site near Boukamal city led to the discovery of archeological pieces at the Palace of Zimri Lim.
Deir el-Zor, northeast (SANA) – The Syrian-French joint expedition began excavations at the Halabia and Zalabia site in Deir el-Zor, northeast of the country,  with the participation of 29 experts.
Al-Hasaka, (SANA) – Archeological expeditions in al-Hasaka governorate concluded their second stage on Tuesday, uncovering a number of round residential buildings 8.5 meters high dating back to the 5th millennium BC.
Damascus / Daraa, (SANA) – The General Department of Archeology and Museums announced on Tuesday the discovery of a castle in the Tel Ifs area in Idleb Governorate which dates back to the 14th century BC, containing a cuneiform tablet detailing rituals of ceremonial burial.
Raqqa, northeast Syria (SANA) – The American archaeological expedition working at Tal al-Suwaihat site, northeast of Syria began work for the season, headed by Dr. Michael Dante.
Al-Raqqa, northeast Syria (SANA) – The American archeological expedition working at Tal al-Suwaihat site west of al-Raqqa uncovered new sections of the temple that had been discovered over the pats few years which dates back to 3000 BC.
